Haustürgespräche für dein Anliegen nutzen

Haustürgespräche (oder generell Einzelgespräche) sind ein wichtiges Tool in der Tradition des “Organizing”. Wir erreichen damit Menschen außerhalb unserer Bubble, die nicht auf unsere Demos oder zu unseren Veranstaltungen kommen würden. Sie können Menschen aktivieren und uns verbinden. Durch Gespräche bauen wir Brücken und lernen unseren Horizont zu erweitern. “WIR* gegen rechts” hat vor der Nationalratswahl 2024 und vor der Wienwahl 2025 hunderte Gespräche geführt und damit einen Beitrag gegen den Rechtsruck geleistet. In diesem Workshop erzählen wir euch etwas über den Hintergrund der Technik und überlegen wann es sinnvoll ist, Haustürgespräche zu führen und wann nicht. Wir stellen euch einen Leitfaden für ein Gespräch vor, geben Einblicke in die Organisation hinter den Gesprächen UND (ganz wichtig!) wir probieren es gleich aus. Denn nichts ist so schwer, wie das erste Klingeln!

Front door talks (or one-on-one talks in general) are an important tool in the tradition of “organizing”. We use them to reach people outside our bubble who would not come to our demos or events. They can activate people and connect us. Through conversations, we build bridges and learn to broaden our horizons. “WIR* gegen rechts” held hundreds of talks before the 2024 National Council elections and the 2025 Vienna elections, helping to counter the shift to the right. In this workshop, we will tell you about the background to the technique and consider when it makes sense to conduct front door talk promotion and when not. We will introduce you to a guideline for a conversation, give you an insight into the organization behind the conversations AND (very important!) we will try it out right away. Because nothing is as difficult as the first ring!
