Active from the very beginning of Swiss Metal history, Excrutiation is back with their fifth album ‘[P]Ain’! Fourty years after the bands formation, several line-up changes and many struggles later, ‘[P]Ain’ is what one could call their darkest album so far. It appears fresh and up to date but still very true to the spirit of the band, combining their history and influences ranging from doom, death, 80s dark wave to crustcore into a piece of music that celebrates the dead and is given to the living.

With new inspirationthey anticipate a new full-length album in Spring 2024, promising more melancholic tunes and a deeper sense of Finnish melancholy. BLACK COVEN – Black/Death Metal, Austria

Over the past years, Black Coven have developed from their early melodic death approach on their first demo “Midwinter Gateways” to today’s black/death metal massarcre. Their latest output “Tomorrow I Die” is a concept EP featuring a total of four carefully-selected visual artworks.
